Eligibility
To apply, organizations generally need to:
- Have been in business 3+ years
- Be in good standing with their Secretary of State (verification document)
- Complete the DoD SkillBridge employer ethics training
- Offer training for a civilian role, within a service member's last 180 days of service, at no cost to the member
- Companies with 200 or fewer employees must commit to hosting at least 1 participant per year (per the DoD FY27 intake application).

SkillBridge participants remain on military pay. Confirm details with official program guidance.
Can participants work on a DoD-funded contract?
Participants can't perform work billed to a DoD-funded contract.
Can we just buy training plans?
Yes. Training Plan Only is $750 per role.
What happens after approval?
Launch tiers include MOU and provider-system setup support. Launch + Year adds 12 months of upkeep.
